GATE 2022 Admit Card Out, Here's Direct Link To Check Hall Tickets

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has released the hall ticket for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE 2022 on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Candidates who got themselves registered and will be taking the exams can download the admit cards now. They can download hall tickets from the official website gate.Iitkgp.Ac.In. To be noted that earlier the GATE admit card 2022 was scheduled to be released on January 3, 2022. The institute postponed it to Jan 7 and then again postponed it to Jan 15, 2022. GATE 2022 will be conducted between February 5 and February 13, 2022. Registered candidates can check the important dates here. Amid the daily rising cases of coronavirus, it was being speculated that examination will be postponed. However, there has been no official confirmation from IIT Kharagpur, who is organizing the GATE 2022 Exam.

Registered candidates should go to the GATE official website https://gate.Iitkgp.Ac.In/

On the homepage, click on the login link being displayed below link which reads, "Admit card download available from January 15, 2022"

Feed-in the enrollment number and password

The admit card will be displayed on the screen. Candidates should go through it and download the PDF.

Candidates should  make sure to take the printout of hall tickets so as to carry it to the exam hall

GATE Admit Card 2022 (OUT): Finally, the GATE 2022 Admit Card has been released by IIT KGP. Yes, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur has released the GATE Hall Ticket 2022 for the upcoming postgraduate level engineering entrance exam on its website today. In line with the official announcement, the GATE 2022 Admit Card was released during morning hours and was made available to the candidates online. Registered candidates, who had successfully applied for GATE 2022 exam can now download their individual hall tickets for the test via the GOAPS portal at gate.Iitkgp.Ac.In. GATE 2022 Exam Postponement Update

GATE Admit Card 2022 Release has already been postponed twice due to the recent COVID-19 surge. This has also led to speculations and rumours about GATE 2022 Exam being postponed by IIT Kharagpur. However, sources close to the exam conducting authority have hinted that it is highly unlikely that GATE 2022 Exam will be postponed. Even IIT KGP director in his interaction with media persons had said that “there is a very slim chance of exam postponement.” Currently, the institute is assessing the situation and and a decision postponement of GATE 2022 can be expected in the next week. 

How to Download GATE Admit Card 2022 online?

Like all other exam events, the release of GATE 2022 Hall Tickets is also being done online via the official exam portal. Candidates who are registered for the PG engineering entrance exam will be able to access and download the admit card by following the step-wise process listed below:

Step 1: Log onto the exam portal i.E. Gate.Iitkgp.Ac.In

Step 2: On Homepage, locate link for Login button and click on it

Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page with input fields

Step 4: Enter the details asked on the website, verity and submit them

Step 5: Your GATE Admit Card 2022 will be displayed on the screen

Step 6: Download the hall ticket and take printout for future reference

GATE 2022 Admit Card: Check Steps To Download Online

GATE 2022 admit card update: GATE 2022 admit card, earlier scheduled to release on January 3, will release today.

According to reports, the Indian Institute of Technology, Khragpur (IIT) will release the GATE 2022 admit card after 10 am.

Once released, the GATE admit card 2022 will be released on its official website at gate.Iitkgp.Ac.In. Candidates will have to key in their enrollment ID and password to download exam hall ticket.

While IITKGP GATE 2022 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2022, the in computer-based online exam will be conducted in two shifts on each day.

Step 1: Visit the official website gate.Iitkgp.Ac.In.

Step 2: Go to GATE 2022 admit card option [link not yet active].

Step 3: Enter the Login credentials.

Step 3: Download GATE 2022 admit card and take a printout.

Candidates have to wear their face masks while appearing for the exam.

Candidates must wear open footwear like slippers, sandals instead of closed shoes. This apart, the clothes should not have big buttons.

The two new papers (GE and NM) will provide direct benefits to graduates in these two areas, especially when the country needs human resources with advanced capabilities in Ship Building Industries and Geo-informatics.Geomatics Engineering (GE)The Paper contains General Aptitude (GA) section (15 Marks) as applicable for all papers of GATE 2022.Rest of the Paper consists of two parts covering the syllabus: Part A (55 marks) and Part B (30 marks).Part A is compulsory for all the candidates.Part B contains two optional sections: Section I and Section II. Candidates have to choose any one of these during the examination. No separate score and ranking will be provided based on selection of sections.
